The Barbaresco Bernadot DOCG from Ceretto winery is a red wine that embodies the elegance and complexity of Nebbiolo, the king grape of the Langhe region in Piedmont. This wine stands out for its finesse and aromatic intensity, offering a tasting experience that remains etched in the palate’s memory.

The winemaking process of the Barbaresco Bernadot follows traditional methods, with a long maceration of the skins and temperature-controlled fermentation, followed by aging in oak barrels that help to shape the wine’s tannic profile and integrate the layers of aromas and flavors.

On the nose, Barbaresco Bernadot opens with elegant notes of ripe red fruits, including strawberries and cherries, enhanced by hints of violets, licorice, spices, and a subtle aftertaste of tobacco and cocoa. On the palate, the structure is robust yet balanced, with silky tannins that blend harmoniously with a lively acidity, leading to a persistent and richly aromatic finish.

The wine reaches its full expression after several years of bottle aging, during which its complex aromas and structure evolve, allowing for a broader range of food pairings. Ideal with red meat dishes, game, mushrooms, and aged cheeses, this Barbaresco is perfect for an elegant dinner or as a gift for a lover of high-quality Italian wines.

Enjoying a glass of Barbaresco Bernadot means immersing yourself in one of the most refined expressions of the Piedmontese terroir, reflecting the attention to detail and passion for excellence of the Ceretto family.
