The Barbaresco DOCG Asili 2020 produced by Ceretto is one of the most exemplary wines of Piedmontese oenological excellence. This elegant and complex wine is made from Nebbiolo grapes, hand-harvested in the renowned vineyards of Asili, one of the most prestigious areas for the production of Barbaresco. The 2020 harvest year was particularly favorable, a fact reflected in the superior quality of this wine.

Once harvested, the grapes undergo controlled fermentation, followed by aging in barriques which imparts a robust and complex structure to the wine. It presents a garnet red color typical of Nebbiolo, offering a bouquet of aromas ranging from violets to tar, with additional notes of cherry and sweet spices.

On the palate, the Barbaresco DOCG Asili 2020 by Ceretto reveals an elegantly balanced tannic texture, accompanied by a persistent freshness and a long, harmonious finish. It is a wine that can be enjoyed now, but also has great aging potential. Ideal to pair with rich dishes such as roasted red meats, game, or aged cheeses.
