The Bardolino Classico DOC "Bordenis" by Santi is a light and fruity red wine, which reflects the elegance and liveliness of the Lake Garda area, in Veneto. This wine is an example of how the Bardolino area can produce fresh and pleasantly drinkable reds, ideal for multiple occasions.

Visually, it shows a light and brilliant ruby red color. On the nose, the wine unfolds an aromatic and captivating bouquet, with notes of fresh red fruits, such as cherries and strawberries, combined with floral nuances and a light herbaceous touch.

On the palate, Santi's Bardolino Classico reveals itself to be light, fresh and immediately pleasant. The acidity is well balanced, contributing to a sensation of freshness and lightness. Fresh red fruit flavors are dominant, with a delicate and refreshing finish.

This wine is perfect for accompanying light dishes such as appetizers, salads, fish and poultry dishes. Thanks to its drinkability and freshness, it is also an excellent choice as an aperitif wine or to be enjoyed in company on a summer day.

Winery history
Cantina Santi was founded as a winery in Illasi and has been present in Valpolicella since the 19th century. During the 20th century the Santi family introduced technical innovations and progressively focused on high-end wines; in 1974 the winery became part of Gruppo Italiano Vini, which reinforced investments and facilities while preserving its local identity.
Production philosophy
Santi claims a style tied to the sense of place of Valpolicella: it favors the predominant use of Corvina in its selections, aging in large traditional casks, and the use of local woods to enhance the aromatic qualities typical of native grape varieties. The approach combines oenological research with respect for local practices.
Terroir and vineyards
Santi's vineyards and selections are concentrated in Val d'Illasi and the classic areas of Valpolicella, using a vineyard-selection approach across different exposures and microclimates to produce wines that reflect the local terroir. The winery also works with vineyards in other Veronese appellations such as Soave, Bardolino and Lugana.
