The Barolo DOCG Cannubi - Poderi Luigi Einaudi represents one of the most prestigious examples of Barolo, the result of the passion and experience of one of the historic wineries of Piedmont, Poderi Luigi Einaudi. Founded at the end of the 19th century by Luigi Einaudi, the first President of the Italian Republic and illustrious economist, the Poderi have from the beginning focused on excellence and innovation in wine production, while maintaining a deep respect for tradition and the territory .

Cannubi is one of the most renowned MGA (Additional Geographical Mentions) of Barolo, famous for its unique soil, composed of calcareous marl and sand, which gives the wines an extraordinary elegance, complexity and aging capacity. Einaudi's Barolo Cannubi is a masterful expression of this terroir, obtained from carefully selected Nebbiolo grapes, harvested manually in the property's vineyards located in the heart of the Cannubi area.

At sight, the wine has an intense garnet red color, with orange reflections that tend to emerge with aging. On the nose, the bouquet is rich and complex, with notes of ripe red fruits, cherries and plums, enriched by floral nuances of dried rose and violet, as well as accents of spices, tobacco and a light balsamic touch, a sign of elegant refinement in wood.

In the mouth, the Barolo DOCG Cannubi by Poderi Luigi Einaudi reveals an imposing structure, with finely intertwined tannins and an acidity that gives freshness and liveliness to the sip. The flavors are consistent with the sense of smell, evolving towards a long and persistent finish, characterized by notable minerality and spicy notes that confirm the complexity and depth of the wine.

Perfect in combination with rich and intense dishes, such as roasts, braised meats, game and mature cheeses, Einaudi's Barolo Cannubi is also an excellent meditation wine, which enriches and evolves over time, offering an always new and surprising tasting.
