Barolo DOCG "Rocca Castelletto" by Cascuna Chicco offers a composed, restrained profile that respects the classic designation. In the glass it shows a deep, luminous ruby color; on the nose it opens to scents of ripe red berries, delicate floral notes and a hint of sweet spice, always supported by a subtle earthy undercurrent. The palate is upheld by present but well-integrated tannins that provide structure without overwhelming. Acidity keeps freshness and guides the sip toward a coherent, slightly saline finish.

It pairs well with red meat dishes, roasts and aged cheeses, but can also support mushroom-based preparations or savory sauces. It is advisable to serve it in a large glass at around 16–18 °C to appreciate its aromas and structure; a few minutes of aeration helps open the more delicate notes. Suitable for formal dinners or occasions when a wine of character is desired, it is a versatile choice for those seeking a balanced, recognizable Barolo without artifices.

Production philosophy
Balance of tradition and innovation, respect for the land and tailored winemaking: cryomaceration for whites, extended macerations for reds, ageing in large Slavonian casks and French barriques; ageing also carried out in an underground cellar.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards across Roero and the Langhe (Canale, Vezza d’Alba, Castellinaldo d’Alba, Barbaresco) with an estate in Monforte d’Alba; the Barolo «Rocche di Castelletto» is sourced from the Castelletto cru in Monforte, on clay-limestone soils at about 400 m asl.
