The Barolo Serralunga d'Alba DOCG - Giovanni Rosso is a refined example of how the specific terroir of Serralunga d'Alba, one of the most appreciated areas of Barolo, can express itself through the skilful interpretation of the Nebbiolo grape. The Giovanni Rosso winery, a winemaking company of great passion and dedication, is located in the heart of the Langhe, in Piedmont, and is committed to producing wines that are faithful expressions of the territory, with a particular focus on quality and authenticity.

Serralunga d'Alba is known for its soils rich in marl and clay, which give the wines structure and longevity, characteristics that are fully found in Giovanni Rosso's Barolo. This wine, produced exclusively with Nebbiolo grapes selected from the best plots, reflects the essence of Serralunga d'Alba, offering a complexity and depth that only this area is able to offer.

Visually, Barolo Serralunga d'Alba DOCG presents the typical garnet red color of Nebbiolo, with orange nuances that tend to accentuate with the evolution of the wine. On the nose, it stands out for an intense and complex aromatic bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, dried flowers, spices, leather and a light mineral vein, a distinctive sign of the wines produced on this particular soil.

In the mouth, the wine offers an extraordinary structure, with powerful but finely crafted tannins that support its aromatic richness. The acidity is well balanced, contributing to a pleasant and lively drink. The flavors are consistent with the sense of smell, evolving towards a long and persistent finish, which leaves a sensation of elegance and complexity in the mouth.

Perfect in combination with traditional Piedmontese dishes, such as braised and roasted meat, game and mature cheeses, Barolo Serralunga d'Alba DOCG - Giovanni Rosso is also an excellent meditation wine, which invites careful tasting to appreciate all its nuances .
