Torre di Giano is one of the most appreciated wines of the Lungarotti winery, it comes from a skilful blend of Vermentino, Trebbiano and Grechetto, varieties of the area. A decidedly fresh and balanced wine capable of meeting multiple tastes, thanks also to fragrant aromas. Vinifies and ages exclusively in steel tanks.
In the glass it stands out for its immediacy and harmony. The name is dedicated to Janus, the Two-faced God, and to the Torgiano tower dedicated to him, rebuilt on ancient Roman settlements.
In the glass it has a beautiful straw yellow color with greenish reflections. Intense and long fruity aromas arrive on the nose, with clear citrus references and notes of white flowers and fresh fruit salad. On the palate it is well structured and dry, with a slight acidic vein and fragrant evolution, persistent aftertaste.
Perfect as an aperitif, it goes perfectly with pasta and risotto, excellent with white meats, ideal with fish and seafood, goes well with onion soup and quiches, absolutely to be tried with soft cheeses.
