Biserno, from Tenuta di Biserno, is an enological jewel of Toscana IGT that embodies the elegance and complexity of great Tuscan reds. Produced in a unique terroir, where clay and sandy soils promote balance and structure, this wine is born from a skillfully assembled blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. The aging, strictly in French barrique for over a year, imparts depth and delicacy, enhancing the fruity and spicy character of the wine.

In the glass it presents an intense ruby red color, while on the nose it opens with vibrant aromas of ripe berries, such as blackberry and cherry, accompanied by notes of tobacco, leather, and light hints of vanilla. On the palate, softness emerges supported by silky tannins and a lively freshness that highlights its persistence and refined balance. Biserno Magnum testifies to Tenuta di Biserno’s ability to express the excellence of the Tuscan territory, perfectly pairing with red meats, game, and aged cheeses, for an intense and memorable tasting experience.

Winery history
The Tenuta di Biserno project was initiated by Lodovico and Piero Antinori together with their nephew Niccolò Marzichi Lenzi. The founders carried out a parcel-by-parcel study that led to the establishment of multiple production units and to the creation of the estate's flagship wine, Biserno.

The estates are located in the municipality of Bibbona, in the Alta Maremma, bordering the historic Bolgheri area. Soils range from alluvial to marine, sandy and clayey, with occurrences of the typical conglomerate of the Bolgheri area. Notable on the property are the large vineyard "Bellaria" and the parcel known as Vigna Lodovico.
