The Bourgogne Chardonnay from Domaine Dubreuil Fontaine is an excellent example of Chardonnay from the renowned Burgundy region. This wine stands out for its freshness and vitality, reflecting the typical terroir from which it originates. On the nose, it offers a complex bouquet with notes of fresh fruit, such as melon and peach, enriched by a slight touch of vanilla and butter, a result of refined maturation in barriques. On the palate, the Bourgogne Chardonnay shows a balanced structure with good acidity, making it a wine that is both robust and elegant. The aromatic persistence is remarkable, leaving a pleasantly fresh and clean sensation. This Chardonnay is ideal as an aperitif but also pairs wonderfully with fish dishes, delicate poultry, or medium-aged cheeses. A wine that can be enjoyed young but is also capable of evolving beautifully if allowed to age properly in the cellar.

Winery history
Family-run for generations, the property is today led by Christine Gruère-Dubreuil together with her daughter Clémentine. Trade and import sources report that the domaine has historical roots dating back to the late 19th century and, over time, has consolidated holdings and parcels in the communes of Pernand-Vergelesses and other villages of the Côte de Beaune.
Production philosophy
The domaine prioritizes an approach focused on expressing the purity of the terroir: environmentally respectful cultivation practices, hand harvesting, careful grape selection and low-intervention winemaking to preserve the terroir’s transparency and authenticity. Aging combines stainless steel and wooden barrels with varying proportions of new wood depending on the appellation.
