Brunello di Montalcino Baricci expresses a classic, measured profile, with a balance that never tips into opulence. In the glass you perceive ripe red fruit—cherry and sour cherry—integrated with earthy notes and spicy hints reminiscent of black pepper and tobacco; the overall tone remains elegant, supported by lively freshness and a savory minerality that keeps the palate taut. The tannins are present and well-structured, providing substance and a persistence that delivers pleasant fruity echoes and a slight balsamic note.

It is suitable both for enjoyable drinking after decanting and for further ageing in the cellar for those seeking greater complexity. Excellent with structured red meats, braises and game, it also stands up well to aged cheeses and traditional Tuscan dishes; serve at around 16–18 °C and open a little in advance to appreciate its nuances. It is a Brunello with a defined identity, capable of accompanying convivial, flavor-rich gatherings without losing composure.
