Chablis Saint Martin AOP Magnum from Domaine Laroche is a white wine from the Chablis appellation, offered in a 1.5-litre format. As no vintage is specified, this description focuses on style and versatility without assigning particular characteristics to a specific harvest. In keeping with the profile generally associated with Chablis, it may present a fresh, dry expression with citrus and mineral impressions; its actual balance can vary according to the vintage and serving conditions. It is a suitable choice for those looking for a restrained white wine to enjoy with a meal.

At the table, it can accompany fish dishes, shellfish, delicately prepared white meat and cheeses that are not heavily aged. To appreciate its character, serve it chilled but avoid making it too cold. The magnum format is made for sharing and suits meals with family or friends, with the name and style of Chablis at the heart of the experience. It may also appeal to those wishing to explore the appellation through a wine from Domaine Laroche. Bear in mind that the profile in the glass depends on the specific vintage, which is not stated here.

Winery history
The historic cellars of Domaine Laroche are located in the Obédiencerie of Chablis, a complex with cellars dating back to the Middle Ages where the canons of Saint Martin practiced winemaking. The house’s modern origins are linked to Jean Victor Laroche, who purchased the first vineyards in the Maligny area around 1850. Since then the estate has grown, consolidating the family's and the domaine's role in the Chablis region and continuing to raise and mature its Premier and Grand Cru wines in the historic cellars.
Production philosophy
The winery's philosophy focuses on enhancing the terroir and the clean expression of Chardonnay: respect for the soil, careful vineyard management, and an approach geared toward sustainability and quality, with aging and refinement in the historic cellars. In recent years production has evolved to include sustainable practices and initiatives toward organic/biodynamic viticulture and reduced intervention in the vineyard.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the Chablis area of Burgundy, characterized by Kimmeridgian limestone marl and the Serein River. The domaine cultivates parcels across the various Chablis appellation levels and uses the millennia-old cellars of the Obédiencerie for ageing.
