Champagne Extra Brut - Tandem - M.G. Heucq is born in the heart of the Champagne region, enhancing the unique territory that gives each bottle a distinctive character. Made mainly with classic grapes from the area, such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier, and Chardonnay, this Extra Brut stands out for its elegance and freshness, being perfect for those who love an almost non-existent dosage that highlights the purity of the fruit.

The traditional sparkling wine method, with a long aging on the lees, gives this champagne a fine and persistent perlage, a vibrant balance between acidity and minerality, and an aromatic-sensorial complexity that evolves over time. The notes open with aromas of fresh citrus, green apple, and slight hints of bread crust, underscored by a mineral tension that invites the next sip.

Perfect to accompany raw fish dishes, seafood, or as a refined aperitif, it is an ideal choice for those seeking authenticity and structure in an Extra Brut with great personality.

Grapes: Meunier, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
Calcareous terroir of Fleury-la-Rivière with marine fossils. Parcel-level vinifications and the combined use of stainless-steel tanks and tonneaux. M.G. HEUCQ brand, launched in 2019 by Guillaume and Mélody; family-run for four generations.
Winery history
Four generations of the Heucq family have worked the vineyards in Fleury-la-Rivière. Robert and Paulette expanded the family holding; in 1979 François and Véronique built a pressing center to become récoltant-manipulant and developed commercialization. In 2019 Guillaume and Mélody resumed operations on about 5 hectares, creating the M.G. HEUCQ label and introducing parcel-based vinification and the use of tonneaux.
Production philosophy
Family-run management of all stages — from vineyard to bottle — with a focus on grape quality, winemaking in both stainless steel and wood, low-impact practices and enhancement of the terroir through blends and single-parcel cuvées. The website also states that HVE certification is underway.
Terroir and vineyards
The parcels are located mainly in Fleury-la-Rivière, a limestone terroir formed 45 million years ago and rich in marine fossils. Soils are varied, and the average age of the vines is reported by the producer at around 35 years.
