The La Grande Dame 2018 from Veuve Clicquot presents as a Champagne of notable elegance, vintage 2018. In the glass it shows a fine, lively mousse and a luminous straw colour. On the nose it offers a balance of fresh and ripe notes: white fruit, gentle citrus and a floral nuance, accompanied by light biscuity hints that emerge with aeration. On the palate it confirms a supported structure and a lively acidity that keeps the drinking precise and smooth, finishing with a saline recall that invites a second sip.

It suits formal occasions and moments of celebration, but can also accompany a refined meal. Pairs with fish dishes, shellfish and delicate preparations, as well as with not overly aged soft cheeses. Recommended to taste in fairly large tulip glasses and served cool, around 8–10 °C, to appreciate its dynamism and freshness.
