This Chardonnay Toscana IGT from the Torricella line by Ricasoli shows a luminous straw-yellow color. On the nose it offers suggestions of white-fleshed fruit such as apple, pear and peach, accompanied by delicate citrus notes and a light floral hint; there is also a very subtle herbaceous note that gives freshness. On the palate it is frank and well-proportioned: medium-bodied, balanced acidity and a saline thread that supports the fruit. The texture is smooth, with an emphasis on drinkability; the finish is persistent, fruity and pleasant without excess.

Best enjoyed young to appreciate its primary freshness, it works well as an aperitif and pairs with baked fish, shellfish, light pasta dishes and fresh cheeses. Serve around ten to twelve degrees in not-too-large glasses to enhance the aromas. The Torricella label maintains a linear and accessible profile, suited to those seeking a modern, immediately drinkable Tuscan white.
