The Chianti Classico DOCG Gran Selezione Gaiole Colledilà from Ricasoli, presented here in Mathusalem format, shows an intense, compact visual presence. On the nose it offers a multi-layered profile: impressions of ripe red fruit and dark cherry, accompanied by subtle floral notes and light spicy and mineral hints. On the palate it displays structure and depth, with well-defined tannins and a balance of acidity and body that supports good gustatory persistence; the finish is dry and leaves fruity and spicy echoes without excess.

Designed for convivial occasions and to share a large-format bottle, it pairs naturally with red meats, braised dishes, game and aged cheeses, as well as traditional Tuscan cuisine. It is recommended to serve it at a controlled temperature around 16–18 °C and, when possible, to open the bottle in advance to allow oxygenation; appropriate cellar storage helps maintain its characteristics over time.
