In the glass it shows a compact ruby color, with slightly garnet highlights that hint at a palate that is mature yet vibrant. On the nose it opens with crisp red fruit, cherry and plum, accompanied by light notes of aromatic herbs and a floral nuance reminiscent of iris; the impression is clear and direct, not overloaded.

On the palate the character is confirmed: freshness and sapidity support a well-balanced body, tannins present but polished, and good persistence that keeps the tasting clean and inviting. It is a Chianti Classico with a traditional profile but a modern balance: the sip is incisive yet also offers a softness that makes it versatile at the table. The finish is persistent, with fruity echoes and a mineral thread; it benefits from a short decanting to open up and reveal more depth. It is enjoyed with roasted meats, light game, mushrooms and aged cheeses, served at around 18°C to best appreciate its complexity.
