The Chianti Classico DOCG Riserva from Rocca Guicciarda, offered in magnum format, is a red wine of measured expression and balanced character. In the glass it shows a deep ruby color with slight garnet reflections; on the nose it opens to aromas of ripe red and dark fruits, followed by spicy hints and earthy nuances that add depth. The bouquet remains well-defined without being overbearing, offering aromatic development that invites tasting.

On the palate the entry is enveloping, with a vigorous yet harmonious tannic structure and freshness that supports the overall build. The finish is long and clean, with fruity reprises and a pleasant saline persistence. This Chianti Classico Riserva pairs well with red meats, roasts and game, as well as aged cheeses; the magnum format makes it suitable for important dinners and shared occasions. A short decantation before serving and a serving temperature around 16–18 °C are recommended.
