The Collio DOC Friulano by Formentini dal Collio represents an authentic expression of Friulano, a symbolic vine of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region and in particular of the Collio area, renowned for the production of high quality white wines. This winery, with its deep territorial roots and an approach that combines respect for tradition and innovation, offers a wine that speaks of the richness and diversity of its terroir.

Formentini dal Collio's Friulano has a lively straw yellow colour, which preludes an intense and complex olfactory bouquet. On the nose, distinctive aromas of wild flowers and white pulp fruit emerge, such as pear and apple, with notes of almond and a light herbaceous touch, typical of the Friulian vine, which adds a pleasant freshness.

In the mouth, the wine surprises with its extraordinary harmony: the balance between acidity and body is impeccable, with a soft texture that envelops the palate, leaving room for a long and savory flavor persistence. The typical bitter note in the finish is pleasantly refreshing and stimulates the next sip.

Ideal as an aperitif, this Friulano is also an excellent travel companion for a wide range of dishes, from fish preparations, to vegetable-based first courses, up to fresh and refined cheeses. Its versatility and distinctive character make it an excellent representative of Collio viticulture, capable of conquering even the most demanding palates.

The dedication of Formentini dal Collio in the care of the vineyard and in the vinification of this Friulano guarantees its authenticity and quality, offering a glass that is a real sensorial journey into the heart of Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
