The Côtes de Provence Rosé Terre Promise from the renowned Chateau Henri Bonnaud is a rare gem for rosé wine enthusiasts. This wine displays a pale, delicate pink color with hues reminiscent of rose petals and a summer sunset.

Originating from the picturesque region of Provence in France, this rosé is the result of a careful selection of grapes, predominantly Grenache and Cinsault. The particular attention during the winemaking process, such as the very brief maceration of the skins, allows for a wine of great finesse and elegance.

On the nose, the Terre Promise offers enchanting aromas of fresh red fruits, such as wild strawberries and raspberries, combined with floral notes of roses and geranium. On the palate, the taste is fresh, lively, and harmonious with a perfect balance between acidity and sapidity, concluding with a persistent sensation of cleanliness.

Perfect to serve as an aperitif, this rosé pairs wonderfully with light appetizers, fish dishes, and seafood, as well as Mediterranean cuisine. A wine that promises to transport its admirers to the sunny Provençal landscapes, guaranteeing a refined and memorable sensory experience.

Winery history
Stéphane Spitzglous, raised in the family that owned the land, produced his first vintage in 2004 and named the estate after his grandfather, Henri Bonnaud. In the 2000s the estate developed a flagship cuvée line, and from the early 2010s began converting to organic farming, a process completed with the first organic vinifications and vintages in the early years of the following decade.
Production philosophy
Respect for the land and protection of biodiversity: organic practices in the vineyard, no use of chemical fertilizers or herbicides, hand-harvesting for certain cuvées and winemaking intended to express the local terroir.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate is located in the commune of Le Tholonet, about 6 km southeast of Aix‑en‑Provence, with vineyards facing the Montagne Sainte‑Victoire. The most representative soils are calcareous deposits known as “Langesse”; some parcels lie in a natural amphitheatre that provides a microclimate sheltered from the mistral.
