The Doppio Bianco Pignoletto Frizzante DOC 2023 from Tremonti is a sparkling white wine that captures the essence of the Pignoletto grape, typical of Emilia-Romagna. This 2023 edition stands out for its freshness and liveliness, offering a light yet distinctive sip.

On the nose, the Doppio Bianco presents delicate aromas of white flowers and white-fleshed fruit, such as apple and pear, with a slight hint of citrus. The fine and persistent perlage accentuates its elegance and contributes to a pleasantly refreshing sensory experience.

On the palate, it reveals a well-balanced profile, with good acidity supporting the fruity notes and giving the wine an extraordinary drinkability. The finish is clean and invites another sip, making it an excellent companion for appetizers or to accompany light dishes like seafood starters or fresh vegetables.

The 2023 vintage maintains the promise of quality and typicity that characterizes Tremonti's wines, making the Doppio Bianco Pignoletto Frizzante an ideal choice for those seeking a fresh wine with a clear and defined identity.

Winery history
A small family-run winery led by two generations: founders Sergio and Thea and now their children. The winery started with the purchase of a property in Imola and developed over the years through bold choices for the region. Cantina Tre Monti's first harvest is recorded in the company archives in 1974; since then the winery has progressively expanded its vineyards and reputation, developing projects such as vinification in amphorae for Albana.
Production philosophy
Production focused on enhancing the local terroir and grape varieties through experimental and natural winemaking practices: examples include maceration in Georgian amphorae and a range of wines with low or no added sulfites. The approach prioritizes vineyard expression, unconventional winemaking trials, and direct family-run management of the vineyards and cellar.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on the hills between Imola and Forlì. Clay soils and varied exposures allow the cultivation of Albana, Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Trebbiano and other varieties. The estate reports two complementary vineyard holdings located respectively in the Imola and Forlì areas.
Awards and recognitions
Their Albana "Vitalba" has received repeated recognition and favorable international ratings. Other estate wines have appeared in specialized guides and reviews.
