The Double Oaked Bas Armagnac from Dartigalongue is a real gem for those who appreciate refined and complex spirits. Produced in the Gascony region in southwest France, this Armagnac is distinguished by its unique aging process, which involves the use of two different types of oak barrels.

After distillation, the Armagnac initially rests in new French oak barrels, which bestow robustness and an intense depth of woody and spicy aromas. Subsequently, the liquor is transferred to used American oak barrels, which impart delicacy, softness, and sweeter, more enveloping notes of vanilla and caramel, resulting in an exceptionally balanced aromatic profile.

Visually, the Double Oaked Bas Armagnac displays a deep amber color with golden reflections. On the nose, one can immediately appreciate notes of plum, vanilla, and touches of chocolate, followed by a slight perception of spices such as nutmeg and black pepper. On the palate, it reveals a rich and complex structure, with flavors reminiscent of nuts, honey, and a long, harmonious persistence that finishes with a hint of toasted wood.

Ideal to be enjoyed as an after-dinner digestif, the Double Oaked Bas Armagnac from Dartigalongue also pairs beautifully with dark chocolate or caramel-based desserts, creating an absolutely memorable tasting experience. A product that, with its unique character and high quality, is destined to satisfy even the most demanding palates.
