Falanghina Campania Campi Flegrei DOC - Agnanum is an emblematic white wine that tells the richness of the Neapolitan volcanic territory. Produced in the evocative area of Campi Flegrei, this wine is made from Falanghina grapes, an indigenous variety that perfectly expresses the unique minerality and typical freshness of the Campanian terroir. The winemaking process is carried out with particular attention to preserving the aromas and the delicacy of the fruit, favoring fermentation at a controlled temperature to maintain its floral and citrus notes.

On the nose, intense scents of white flowers, green apple, and a clear mineral sensation reminiscent of volcanic soil can be perceived. On the palate, it is balanced, with a pleasant sapidity and a persistent finish, perfect to accompany dishes based on fresh fish, shellfish, or light Mediterranean appetizers. A genuine experience that reflects the sunny character of Campania.

Agnanum – Winery in Campania

Discover the story and wines of Agnanum.

A small family-run winery in the Campi Flegrei (Agnano, Naples) producing wines from terraced vineyards on volcanic soil, with a low-intervention approach and limited production.
Region: Campania
Country: Italia
Grapes: Piedirosso, Falanghina
Vineyards on volcanic terraces in the Riserva degli Astroni Family-run estate directly managed by Raffaele Moccia. Hand-cultivated, low yields, late harvest. Limited production and low-intervention winemaking Native grape varieties: Piedirosso and Falanghina
Winery history
The estate is linked to the Moccia family: father Gennaro launched a plan to restore the vineyards in the Agnano/Astroni area in 1960, and his son Raffaele has continued to manage the property, preserving the traditional, hands-on nature of the cultivation.
Production philosophy
The estate practices "heroic" viticulture on steep terraces, with hand-harvesting, low yields and low-intervention winemaking. Its stated aim is to showcase the local volcanic terroir through limited-production wines that express the native grape varieties.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located on the volcanic hills of the Astroni Nature Reserve, in the historic Campi Flegrei area. Dark, sandy soils, steep slopes and terraced cultivation requiring manual labor.
