Elegant and linear, this 2025 Gavi DOCG from Fratelli Borgogno shows a light straw color and a fragrant profile that focuses on freshness. In the glass emerge notes of ripe citrus, white flowers and a slight almond hint that doesn’t weigh it down; on the palate it convinces with balance, lively acidity and a salinity that supports the sip without yielding. The body is lean but present, the texture clean and the persistence pleasant, with a citrus finish that invites another taste.

Suitable for informal gatherings and seafood menus: it pairs with shellfish, baked fish, delicate risottos and vegetable-based starters. It is also appreciated as an aperitif for its clarity and immediacy. Serve cool, around 8–10 °C, in not-too-wide glasses to enhance its aromatic notes. It should be consumed fairly young to best enjoy the tension and freshness typical of this appellation.
