The Genever Special N15 PX&OL 5 Yo of Zuidam Genever is a refined and complex expression of the traditional Dutch spirit. Produced in the Baarle-Nassau region, this particular variety is born from the blending of high-quality grains and a five-year maturation in barrels soaked with Pedro Ximénez, which gives a sweet and enveloping touch. The aging process enhances the aromatic depth, offering intense scents of honey, dates, and slightly spicy notes, while the finish remains smooth with subtle hints of oak and candied citrus.
This genever, obtained with the traditional double distillation method, presents a round structure and a pleasant persistence, ideal both for neat tasting and as a base for sophisticated cocktails. Its richness makes it perfect paired with dishes based on aged cheeses or dried fruit desserts, enhancing the sensory experience.
