Coca Gin Leaf Blue is produced in Belgium; its label is hand-drawn and finished with genuine 24-karat gold foil. To make it, special botanicals are used, including Peruvian Coca leaves, coriander, cardamom, Sichuan pepper and the Blue Fig. The latter is a fruit that is left to ferment to extract a singular distillate that combines splendidly to the vegetable characteristics of Gin Amuerte.
Colorless and crystalline to the eye, the olfactory profile denotes strong vegetable and balsamic nuances, which lead back to Coca leaves and medicinal herbs, combined weak citrus scents and light notes of white-fleshed fruit and juniper. A liqueur with a sip full of sweet returns, almost sugary given the presence of the fig, and at the same time vegetable carryovers of roots that bring complex gustatory nuances. On the finish it offers a particularly fresh and very pleasant balsamic taste.
