Mazzetti’s Grappa Barricata offers a warm, enveloping sip with a pleasant balance between structure and finesse. On the nose it opens with scents of sweet wood and vanilla, accompanied by notes of dried fruit and a hint of delicate spices; the texture is clean and the intensity is well defined without being intrusive. On the palate it shows roundness and good body, with a gentle warmth that supports the body and a persistence that leaves lingering notes of cocoa and roasted almond, all without losing freshness or aromatic clarity. The amber color and the spirit’s brightness confirm the influence of the wood without weighing it down.

Serve in a wide glass at a slightly cool temperature to appreciate its complexity; it lends itself to a contemplative end to a meal but not only that: it pairs well with dark chocolate, small dry pastries and aged cheeses, or can be offered as a digestif after a structured dinner. Ideal in a tulip glass that concentrates the aromas; it is best enjoyed at a temperature of around 16-18°C or slightly cooler in summer. A spirit to be sipped slowly, to catch its details with every taste.
