The Grüner Veltliner Federspiel Kreuzberg from Domäne Wachau is an Austrian white wine that enchants the palate with its freshness and vivacity. Originating from the prestigious Wachau wine region, this wine is made from Grüner Veltliner grapes, known for their spicy and aromatic character. The designation "Federspiel" indicates a wine of medium body and alcohol, ensuring a pleasantly balanced drink.

In the glass, the Grüner Veltliner Federspiel Kreuzberg presents a bright straw yellow color. On the nose, intriguing notes of green fruit such as apple and melon emerge, enriched by nuances of fresh herbs and a slight peppery touch typical of the variety. On the palate, the structure is lively yet harmonious, with freshness that persists in the finish.

Ideal for accompanying fish or seafood dishes, this wine is also an excellent companion for vegetable cuisine and asparagus-based dishes. Serve chilled to fully appreciate its range of subtle and refined flavors.

The historic complex and the vineyards passed over time to several noble families; after the transfer of parcels from the Starhemberg to local growers, the site developed into a growers' cooperative. In the 20th century the cooperative adopted various names and has operated as Domäne Wachau since the late 2000s; the organization brings together hundreds of member-growers who cultivate the steep terraces of the Wachau.

The estate has undertaken sustainability and certification initiatives and promotes ongoing training for its growers.
