Before the harvest, which usually takes place during the last ten days of September, the grapes are carefully selected in the vineyard. Subsequently, a gentle pressing is performed, to then pass to alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature in stainless steel for two weeks. The refinement takes place in wooden containers for about a year.
This Merlot Isonzo is presented in the glass with an intense ruby red color with veins tending towards purple. On the nose, aromas of red fruit stand out and stand out almost exclusively.
When tasted, it proves to be dense and full, an enveloping red and very soft on the palate. The finish is long and capable of surprising for the elegance with which the flavors of red cherry and plum jams seduce the taste buds. An excellent wine paired with dishes based on red meats, roasts, game and cold cuts and mixed cheeses.
