Winery history
Sa Raja was established as a local project led by a small group of partners committed to showcasing the vineyards of Gallura. The vineyards are located in the Telti area and surrounding municipalities. The company has published technical sheets and information for each label, expressing its intent to represent the local character and to combine tradition with environmental responsibility.
Production philosophy
Enhancing the local territory and native grape varieties through practices that minimize interventions in the vineyard and winery; the producer states attention to sustainability, limiting fining/filtration and the use of sulfur dioxide where possible to preserve the fruit's identity.
Terroir and vineyards
Gallura. For some labels, production areas are also indicated as Romangia, Sulcis and Ogliastra. Soils with a strong granite component and sandy or sandy-clay portions are repeatedly cited in the technical sheets.
