La Pietra Chardonnay Toscana IGT 1995 from Tenute del Cabreo - Folonari is a vintage bottle referring to Chardonnay and the Toscana IGT designation. The label and packaging (wooden case) indicate careful presentation; as an older vintage it is important to verify the bottle condition, cork and storage with the seller before purchase. Because of its age, this wine should be considered a bottle for collecting or careful tasting, with potential variability between individual examples depending on cellar handling and the cold chain.

For tasting, proceed cautiously: open the bottle shortly before service, check color and aroma and assess any developed notes typical of mature white wines. Indicative serving temperature is cool but not ice-cold (around 10–12 °C); if needed, a gentle aeration can help release aromas. Possible pairings include not overly strong aged cheeses, more structured fish dishes, mushrooms and butter- or cream-based preparations. For specific information on the bottle condition and storage history, contact the seller.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.
Production philosophy
Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
Terroir and vineyards
Headquarters and estates are mainly in Tuscany, with production and a presence also in north-eastern regions such as Veneto and in areas like the Collio; the company’s history begins in the Bresciano and includes references to territories around Lake Garda and beyond.
Awards and recognitions
The "Vinitaly Territory Ambassador" award was presented to Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute.
