La Pietra Chardonnay Toscana IGT 2023 from Tenute del Cabreo, distributed by Folonari, is a white wine presented in a wooden case. Pale straw in color, it offers a frank and clean nose: aromas of yellow-fleshed fruit such as peach and pear, citrus notes and a floral hint. On the palate it is balanced, with lively acidity and medium body; the tasting profile is smooth, with fruity echoes and a light minerality that supports a delicate finish.

It pairs well with fish dishes, white meats and creamy preparations, and can also accompany fresh cheeses. Serve at around 10–12 °C. The wooden case packaging also makes it suitable as a gift; store in a cool place away from heat sources. It is intended to be enjoyed young to appreciate its freshness and fruit, while leaving room for a short bottle ageing if desired.

Winery history
The Folonari family has deep roots in the Brescia area and has been involved in wine production since the late 18th century. At the end of the 19th century the headquarters were moved to Brescia, and in the early 20th century the family acquired the historic Ruffino winery. In the 1960s Nino Folonari began a shift toward quality with the acquisition of estates in Chianti. In 2000 Ambrogio and Giovanni Folonari established Ambrogio e Giovanni Folonari Tenute, which brings together several estates in Tuscany, while the Folonari brand offers an extensive range of table wines and appellation wines.

Enhance the production areas, combine tradition and innovation, and focus on grape quality to produce wines that are distinctive and closely tied to their territory; the company's plan includes investments in the estates and attention to the diversity of terroirs.
