The Lagrein Alto Adige DOC from Cantina Bozen shows an aromatic profile true to the grape’s character: deep ruby color with violet highlights, aromas of dark fruit such as plum and blackberry, subtle floral notes and a touch of spice. On the palate it is generally full and enveloping, with noticeable but not aggressive tannins and a balance that emphasizes freshness. It is a straightforward, down-to-earth red, suitable for those seeking a clear flavor structure without excess.

It pairs confidently with grilled meats, braised dishes, game birds and medium- to long-aged cheeses; it also stands up well to mushroom-based dishes or bolder flavors. To fully appreciate its nuances, a short time in a decanter or opening a few minutes before serving is recommended; ideal serving temperature around 16–18 °C. For online purchase, this bottle can be offered as a reliable choice for informal dinners or to accompany traditional local recipes.
