The Lagrein Alto Adige DOC "Turmhof" from Tiefenbrunner shows a deep ruby color and an intense visual presence, typical of the variety. On the nose there are dark berry fruits such as plum and blackberry, accompanied by hints of small red fruits and subtle spice. On the palate it offers structure and a clearly woven tannic texture, supported by lively freshness that makes it easy to drink; the finish is persistent, with fruity echoes that invite a second sip. The overall impression is one of balance between tannins and freshness, with a gentle earthy note that rounds the profile.

This wine suits informal dinners and local dishes: it pairs well with roasted red meats, mushroom-based preparations and medium-aged cheeses. Serve at around 16–18 °C to enhance aromas and balance. Ideal for those seeking a representative Lagrein from Alto Adige, for drinkers who prefer wines with body and character without excess.
