The Lagrein Perl Alto Adige DOC from Cantina Bozen shows the typical profile of this variety: deep ruby color with violet highlights. On the nose it offers notes of small red and black fruits, with spicy nuances and a hint of aromatic herbs; the olfactory profile remains compact and straightforward. On the palate it has a balanced structure, pronounced yet ripe tannins and good persistence that supports the fruit without overpowering it, delivering impressions of plum, cherry and a subtle earthy touch.

It suits measured consumption paired with grilled meats, modest stews or medium-aged cheeses; it is also appropriate with regional cuisine flavors. Serve at a slightly cool temperature for reds, around 14–16 °C, and briefly decant if you wish to open the aromas. A wine that expresses the character of the denomination without excess, ideal for those seeking an authentic, fruit-centered option.
