It is best enjoyed chilled or over ice as a digestif, but it also lends itself to experimentation in mixes where strong, salty notes are required; try adding it to coffee- or chocolate-based cocktails to contrast and enhance darker aromas. Paired with dark chocolate desserts or aged cheeses it creates interesting contrasts.
