The Lugana DOC from Cà Lojera is a white wine that captivates with its elegance and finesse. Produced on the southern shores of Lake Garda, this wine is primarily made from Turbiana grapes, also locally known as Trebbiano di Lugana. The unique geographical location, with clay-rich soils and the lake's temperate microclimate, contributes to creating a wine of extraordinary freshness and aromatic complexity.

The harvest is done by hand, fully respecting the fruit, employing methods that preserve all the organoleptic qualities of the grapes. After collection, the wine is fermented and aged in stainless steel containers to keep its characteristics of freshness and purity intact.

Visually, the Lugana DOC from Cà Lojera presents a light straw yellow color, which may have delicate greenish reflections. The nose opens with intense aromas of white-fleshed fruits, such as pear and apple, alongside floral notes and a light mineral touch reminiscent of wet stone. In the mouth, the wine reveals an excellent balance between acidity and body, supported by extraordinary salinity that invites a second sip. The fruity and floral sensations blend pleasantly with a persistent mineral freshness.

Ideal as an aperitif, the Lugana DOC from Cà Lojera pairs beautifully with fish dishes, seafood, and fresh cheeses. Its versatility also makes it perfect for pairing with risottos and vegetable-based dishes.

Ultimately, the Lugana DOC from Cà Lojera is a refined choice for those seeking an Italian white wine that combines tradition and pleasantness, capable of making moments of social gathering special.

Winery history
Born from the Tiraboschi family, the Cà Lojera estate has grown by transforming a fruit and vegetable farm into a specialised winery. Owners Franco and Ambra Tiraboschi vinify estate-grown grapes cultivated on both flat and hilly land in the Sirmione area, with a focus on Turbiana for Lugana and a few plots on morainic hills devoted to international varietals.
Production philosophy
Production based on estate-grown grapes, with a focus on terroir and aging: at the winery they favor controlled fermentations and long aging periods to enhance the wines' longevity. They offer direct sales, tastings and estate visits.
Terroir and vineyards
In the heart of the Lugana appellation, between Sirmione and Peschiera del Garda, the soils are white clay on the lakeside plain, with small parcels on the morainic hills that lend the vineyards distinct character.
