Il Mamertino Rosso DOC delle Cantine Lipari è un pregiato vino siciliano che affonda le sue radici in una storia millenaria, risalendo ai tempi dell'Antica Roma. Questo vino rosso, ottenuto da una sapiente combinazione di uve locali come il Nero d'Avola e il Nocera, si presenta con un colore rosso rubino intenso e luminoso. Al naso, il bouquet è un'esplosione di aromi complessi e avvolgenti: frutti rossi maturi, come ciliegia e prugna, si fondono armoniosamente con note speziate di pepe nero, tabacco e vaniglia, derivanti dall'affinamento in botti di rovere.

In bocca, il Mamertino Rosso DOC sorprende per la sua corposità e struttura equilibrata. I tannini sono morbidi e ben integrati, regalando una sensazione vellutata al palato. Winery history
Family-run estate founded to showcase the Mamertino area. According to official materials, the winery was established in 2014 on family land in Contrada Timpanara, with the aim of reviving traditional winemaking practices and expressing local identity through a small selection of labels.
Production philosophy
Artisanal production and respect for the environment: hand-harvested grapes, spontaneous fermentations and extended macerations; the use of traditional vessels and tonneaux to enhance the character of the terroir without using chemical additives. The approach prioritizes naturalness and minimal intervention.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in Santa Lucia del Mela, on the hill called "San Cono" at approximately 300–350 m above sea level, with a south/south‑east exposure on calcareous-clay soils. From the hill you can see the promontory of Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands; the microclimate and terroir are those of the Mamertino.
