The Marsala Florio Secco Superiore 2016 is a true expression of Sicilian excellence, matured for 5 years, perfectly balanced, and incredibly complex. Presented in a 75cl bottle, this wine is known for its intense golden color with amber reflections. On the nose, the aromatic notes of dried fruit, almond, honey, and slight hints of vanilla, derived from its long barrel aging, are immediately distinguishable. On the palate, the structure is robust but balanced by a fresh acidity that makes it surprisingly dry despite its rich and enveloping nature. The finish is persistent, with an elegant aftertaste reminiscent of sweet spices and dark chocolate. This Marsala from the Florio house is a prestigious option to accompany aged cheeses, elaborate meat dishes, or as a meditation wine at the end of a meal.

Ageing
Ageing in oak casks with durations differentiated by category (e.g. Marsala Vergine at least 5 years, Vergine Riserva at least 10; Superiore at least 2 years, Superiore Riserva at least 4). Amaro della Compagnia is aged in wood for at least 18 months. The different climate‑conditioned naves on tuff floors influence organoleptic development.
