The Montefalco Rosso DOC BIO from the Perticaia winery is a wine that embodies the essence of Umbria, a region historically rich and deeply connected to viticultural tradition. This wine is certified organic, a sign of the winery's commitment to sustainable and environmentally friendly practices.

Produced mainly from Sangiovese grapes, complemented by Sagrantino and other local varieties, Perticaia's Montefalco Rosso DOC BIO presents a deep ruby red color, which preludes the complex aromatic notes that unfold on the nose. Aromas of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, are enriched by hints of sweet spices and a slight touch of vanilla from the aging process in wood.

On the palate, the wine displays a solid yet balanced structure, with soft tannins that make it an ideal companion for robust dishes such as red meats, game, and aged cheeses. The freshness and acidity are well balanced, leading to a long and pleasantly persistent finish.

Aging in oak barrels for a period ranging from 12 to 18 months adds complexity and harmony to the wine, allowing the various elements to merge perfectly.

The organic production of this Montefalco Rosso not only reflects Perticaia's attention to quality and the environment but also ensures that every sip reflects the purity and authenticity of the Umbrian territory. A true jewel for lovers of high-quality Italian wines who seek a wine experience that respects nature.
