The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC from Tenuta Ulisse shows a clear ruby red color. On the nose there are aromas of ripe red fruit, subtle spicy notes and floral hints that combine in a restrained way. On the palate it has medium body, present but balanced tannins and acidity that supports the drinking; the finish is clean and invites another sip. It is a wine that retains a recognizable territorial character without exaggerated descriptions.

It pairs easily with cold cuts, pasta with ragù, grilled meats and medium-aged cheeses, suiting everyday drinking as well as informal occasions. Serve at about 16–18°C; a short decanting can help open the aromas if the wine is young. Tenuta Ulisse's offering is aimed at those seeking a balanced, straightforward red for immediate enjoyment, to drink now or keep short-term according to personal preference.
