The Nebbiolo grapes used for "Valmaggiore" come from vineyards located in the territory of Vezza d'Alba, recognized as one of the most prestigious crus in the Roero area. After a manual harvest, the winemaking process, as per tradition, is carried out in red in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with a maceration phase on the skins. The wine subsequently matures for about a year in French oak barriques and completes its refinement with a few months in the bottle before being introduced onto the market.

This wine stands out for its ruby red color with light garnet reflections. On the nose, it reveals an elegant aromatic profile with delicate aromas of small red berries, raspberry, currant, cherry, accompanied by nuances of medicinal herbs, dried flower petals, light notes of vanilla, liquorice root and spices. In the mouth, the wine shows a medium structure, with a very fine tannic texture that integrates harmoniously with the fruit, enriched by fine nuances of tertiary aromas. The finish is of good persistence, characterized by a pleasant freshness and flavor.
