The wine is born from carefully selected Nebbiolo grapes, harvested in high-altitude vineyards where the microclimate favors a perfect balance between ripeness and freshness. The aging takes place in wooden barrels that enhance its aromatic complexity, giving the 2013 hints of cherry, withered roses, tobacco, and delicate spicy notes.
In the glass, it shows an intense garnet red color, accompanied by a refined and persistent bouquet. On the palate, it stands out for a balanced structure, silky tannins, and a fresh acidity that anticipate a long and enveloping finish. Ideal with red meats, braised dishes, and aged cheeses, this Nebbiolo tells the tradition and territory of Gattinara with authenticity and class.
