The Nebbiolo Rosso Ghemme DOCG 2011 by Torraccia tells the deep winemaking tradition of Piedmont, rooted in the Langhe and Novara territories. This wine is made exclusively from the Nebbiolo grape, carefully cultivated here to give life to an authentic and elegant expression. The long aging in wood allows the development of a complex bouquet, intertwining notes of ripe red fruits, withered rose, delicate spices, and earthy aromas typical of the terroir. On the palate, it stands out for its harmonious structure, soft but well-defined tannins, and a pleasant final persistence.

The temperate climate and mineral-rich soils give this Ghemme a refined balance, capable of evolving over time while always maintaining freshness and character. Perfect with roasted meats, braised dishes, or aged cheeses, it is a wine that celebrates the elegance of Nebbiolo and Torraccia’s passion for local tradition.

Winery history
The company's origins date back to the 1950s, when Pierino Piantavigna planted the first vineyards; it was officially established in 1997 by Alessandro Francoli. Over time ownership and management have evolved to include local family collaborations and an expansion of vineyards and production, while maintaining a focus on the viticultural traditions of the Colline Novaresi.
