Elegant and finely cut, this Nosiola Trentino DOC from Gaierhof presents a fragrant, measured profile. On the nose it allows white flowers, light notes of apple and white peach, and an herbaceous accent that never overpowers; a delicate mineral streak adds sobriety and depth. There is a pleasant balance between aroma and substance: the bouquet remains restrained but defined, with a freshness that recalls mountain air without becoming austere.

On the palate the sip is lean and flowing, supported by good acidity and a pleasant sapidity that lengthens the finish without weighing it down. The texture is subtle but well built: the fruit returns in balance with a slight almondy note on the finish that invites the next sip. Versatile at the table, it pairs well with fish dishes, delicate shellfish, herb risottos and fresh cheeses; it also works as a white for aperitif. Serve moderately chilled to capture the nuances; it will be appreciated by lovers of elegant, terroir-driven whites.
