Winery history
The Dubois family dates back to the 17th century; historical records mention an ancestor who was a vintner around 1600. Around the turn of the 20th century Louis Dubois expanded the estate's original vineyards, and the property was progressively developed by subsequent generations. Since 2006 the estate has been managed by siblings Béatrice and Raphaël Dubois, who have modernized aspects of production and marketing.
Production philosophy
The domaine's approach combines respect for the land with targeted vineyard interventions: manual tending of the parcels, reduced chemical treatments, and winemaking choices that prioritize fruit, elegance and the typicity of the terroir. In the cellar, careful selection of barrels is used to preserve the wines' expressiveness.
Terroir and vineyards
Located in the Côte de Nuits, the domaine farms vineyards across several local appellations — including Nuits-Saint-Georges and Savigny-lès-Beaune — that express the limestone character and the typical microclimate of northern Burgundy.
