Passerina is a native white grape variety of the Marches, recently rediscovered and highly appreciated in Italy, thanks to the result of a great selection of the best clones, carried out in the vineyard in recent years.
The result is a very pleasant, aromatic pure product with good acidity, ideal for those who want to taste a pleasant wine that is simple and immediate to drink. In Offida the vineyards are cultivated at an altitude of 300 m above sea level, on clayey soil, and with a spurred cordon training system.
The harvest is done manually in mid-September, then after a soft pressing, the grapes are fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 16 and 18 degrees. It follows the refinement for a month always in steel and to follow another in the bottle.
The nose offers delicate hints with floral and spicy notes. Its color is a warm golden yellow. An extremely fresh and fruity taste explodes on the palate, with a pleasant mineral aftertaste.
To be uncorked with appetizers, risottos, delicate first courses and white meats.
