Grapes: Prosecco 100% Glera; Rosé predominantly Glera with a proportion of Pinot Noir. Produced by Cantina Colli Vicentini, part of the Vitevis group, based in Montecchio Maggiore.
Winery history
Romeo & Juliet is a collection created within Cantina Colli Vicentini and draws inspiration from the castles associated with the Romeo and Juliet legend in Montecchio Maggiore. The range highlights the grapes of the Vicentine hills through the area's traditional sparkling winemaking techniques.
Production philosophy
To celebrate the "meeting" between selected grapes from the Colli Vicentini and the finest sparkling winemaking practices, offering wines conceived for aperitifs and convivial moments, with an approach oriented toward territorial typicity.
Terroir and vineyards
Vineyards located between the plains and hills of the province of Vicenza, on clay-based soils with a good diurnal temperature range, well suited to the production of sparkling wines and Prosecco DOC.
Awards and recognitions
Romeo Prosecco DOC was listed with a silver medal on Vitevis's recognition pages.
