The Pernand Vergelesses Premier Cru, from the renowned parcel "Ile Des Vergelesses" of Domaine Dubreuil Fontaine, represents a sublime expression of elegance and refinement. This wine is a clear example of how Burgundy can best express the Pinot Noir variety, thanks to a unique terroir and meticulous winemaking.

The color is a deep ruby red, with reflections that herald complexity and structure. On the nose, it opens with seductive aromas of ripe red fruit such as cherries and raspberries, intertwined with spicy notes of black pepper and a light touch of vanilla, derived from balanced aging in barriques.

On the palate, the Pernand Vergelesses Premier Cru "Ile Des Vergelesses" stands out for its perfect balance between lively acidity and finely woven tannins. The taste persistence is remarkable, with a finish that returns to the tones of red fruit and delicate spices.

This wine pairs beautifully with refined dishes such as herb-crusted beef fillet or roast duck, enhancing their flavors without overpowering them. Its elegance also makes it perfect on its own, as a meditation after an important dinner.

Winery history
Family-run for generations, the property is today led by Christine Gruère-Dubreuil together with her daughter Clémentine.
