The Pernand Vergelesses Village Rosso from Domaine Dubreuil Fontaine is a wine of refined expression, produced in the renowned wine region of Burgundy in France. This elegant red is made primarily from Pinot Noir grapes, known for their remarkable ability to reflect their terroir.

On the nose, the Pernand Vergelesses Village opens with a complex bouquet, characterized by notes of ripe red fruits, particularly cherry and raspberry, enriched by subtle spice nuances and a slight touch of vanilla, the result of aging in barrels. On the palate, the wine is surprisingly balanced, with finely woven tannins that harmoniously integrate with the natural acidity of the Pinot Noir.

The structure of the Pernand Vergelesses Village is robust yet elegant, with a persistent finish that leaves a pleasant sensation of complexity and depth. It is recommended to serve this wine at a temperature of about 16-18°C to enhance all its organoleptic qualities.

Ideal for accompanying dishes based on red meats, game, or aged cheeses, this wine is an excellent example for those wishing to explore the finesse of Burgundy reds. Each sip promises a memorable enological experience, perfect for special occasions or as a prestigious addition to any wine cellar.

Winery history
Family-run for generations, the property is today led by Christine Gruère-Dubreuil together with her daughter Clémentine. Trade and import sources report that the domaine has historical roots dating back to the late 19th century and, over time, has consolidated holdings and parcels in the communes of Pernand-Vergelesses and other villages of the Côte de Beaune.
Production philosophy

Aging combines stainless steel and wooden barrels with varying proportions of new wood depending on the appellation.
