The Pinot Bianco Alto Adige DOC from Tenuta J Hofstatter shows an elegant, measured profile, a restrained expression of the variety in this denomination. In the glass it appears a pale straw yellow; on the nose it offers notes of white-fleshed fruit like apple and pear, hints of white flowers and light citrus nuances. The bouquet develops mineral touches and a restrained freshness that makes it easy to drink without excessive aromatics.

On the palate it confirms a slim body, balanced acidity and a sapid progression that closes on a clear, dry finish. It is a wine meant to be enjoyed young, ideal with seafood starters, light soups, steamed fish, delicate white meats and fresh cheeses. Serve at about 8–10 °C in tulip glasses to appreciate its finer aromas. It works well as an aperitif or to accompany everyday meals where a versatile, well-balanced white is desired.
